The story behind the project
Mac Monitorly is a thoughtfully crafted tool by VIMI Studios — an independent software studio in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, founded by Minh Nguyen, a Senior iOS Developer with a strong passion for building simple and purposeful tools for the Apple ecosystem.

From a simple tool to a complete Mac system monitor
We started with a basic need — checking the CPU temperature. Over time, that utility evolved into Mac Monitorly: a powerful yet elegant system monitoring app trusted by thousands of Mac users.
Temp Monitor v1.0.0 — Where it all started
The very first release of Temp Monitor. A lightweight menubar app designed to show the current CPU temperature — nothing more, nothing less.
First media mention
Temp Monitor was featured in a tutorial article on MacBookCity.fr, marking its first public recognition in the Mac community.
Temp Monitor v1.0.4 — Main App UI introduced
A full native UI was added, allowing users to interact with more detailed metrics and system data beyond just the menu bar.
Temp Monitor v1.2.0 — Fan Control
One of the most requested features — Fan Control — was introduced, letting users manually or automatically adjust fan speeds to better manage thermals.
Featured on Beebom.com
Temp Monitor was highlighted as a solution for MacBook overheating issues on Beebom, bringing it to a wider global audience.
v2.0.0: Rebranded as Mac Monitorly
With the introduction of CPU load monitoring and a redesigned interface, Temp Monitor evolved into Mac Monitorly — a modern, all-in-one system monitoring app for macOS.
